Reno Omokri takes a swipe at President Buhari.

Reno Omokri, a pastor and former special assistant on new media to Goodluck Jonathan, defended the former president by listing his achievements. He also noted that although his ex-boss made some mistakes, he still did his best for Nigeria and its people. In a series of tweets posted on Thursday, March 24, Omokri took a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari and his administration. He wondered why Buhari congratulated the winner of Benin’s election but not an opposition governor who won in his own nation, why he condemned the terror attack on Brussels but not the killings in Agatu. We will all stand before God in judgment, not before Twitter and not before the gallery. @GEJonathan made mistakes, but God knows he tried! — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 @GEJonathan left a stable strong Naira, credible polls & civil service that were regularly paid. He made mistakes too, but I’m proud of him. — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 @GEJonathan ensured freedom of speech, built universities so more jambites could be admitted. Even with ‘transgressions’, I’m proud of him! — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 @GEJonathan made women and youths, ministers, built schools for Almajiri and empowered Youth entrepreneurs through YouWIN. I’m proud of him! — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 Before blaming @GEJonathan for inability to pay salary, @mbuhari should recall it was APC Govs who took GEJ to court on Excess Crude account — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 Why congratulate the winner of Benin’s election and not an opposition Gov who wins in your own nation? Why condemn Brussels but not Agatu? — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 24, 2016 “People must not get away with that level of dastardly act and killings”-@APCNigeria Chairman John Oyegun. No, he’s not referring to Agatu! — Reno Omokri (@renoomokri) March 25, 2016 Meanwhile, Nigerians also attacked President Buhari for his quick response to the terror attacks in Brussels, Belgium on March 22, Tuesday. Eight local government areas, comprising Agatu, Buruku, Guma, Gwer-west, Logo, Kwande, Gwer- East and Katsina- Ala, have been under recurrent heavy attacks from the Fulani herdsmen since 2013. The latest deadliest attack that claimed over 300 lives happened on March 5 in Agatu local government area.
