Imo suspend activities of motherless babies homes

This new directive comes as the state is worried about the recent boom in baby factories, where people pay to buy babies.
Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Nma Onyechere, made the announcement on Monday.
According to the commissioner, these ‘baby factories’ had damaged the image of Imo state, and fresh registration will help the government monitor these institutes
